Whenever you upload an image to your website, it must be resized and compressed. When you download images directly from sites like pexels or unsplash, the images are around 5000 pixels wide and at maximum quality, a huge file size.
Uploading one of these images directly to your site will slow your webpage down, which could cost you, clients.
The longer the page takes to loads, the more likely the user will click the back button.
Website speed is a search engine ranking factor; it’s essential images are resized correctly before being uploaded to your website.
